Electrical Craftsperson at Equans

Equans is seeking an Electrical Craftsperson to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. The salary range is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, along with a benefits package.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret and work from instructions, drawings, and specifications independently.
2. Set up new work using relevant tools, equipment, and machinery.
3. Work off tower scaffolding, MEWPs, ladders, and within confined spaces after training.
4. Perform maintenance and repairs, reporting defects or issues to the supervisor.
5. Learn new techniques through training as required.
6. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive work efficiently and in compliance with instructions.
7. Diagnose and repair faults in electrical installations, plant, and equipment, and communicate delays or issues to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Electrical Installation Approved Apprenticeship (City & Guilds Parts 1-3, Level 2/3/4, or Diploma).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS Amendment).
• HTM-06 Competent Person for LV.
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to pass a DBS Standard check.
