Job Opportunity: Estates & Facilities Technician

The Estates & Facilities Department at Queens Hospital Burton is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Burton on Trent Campus. We prioritize quality and patient care, and our team is committed to delivering excellent service.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare estates maintenance procedures and responsibilities. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust’s estates, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, financial effectiveness, and high standards.

Key requirements include:

  1. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Flexibility to cover a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.
  4. Evidence of City and Guilds apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  5. Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
