Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee contracts from planning through completion. You will coordinate clients, contractors and site teams, manage commercial aspects and ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires strong electrical contracting experience, a managerial background preferred, and proficiency with RAMS, estimating and CAD tools. A company vehicle and generous annual leave are among the listed benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in electrical contracting with site-based works.
• Experience as Contracts Manager or in a managerial role preferred.
• Excellent organisational and people management skills.
• Confident communicator with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Strong computer literacy: Excel, email, certification/design software, estimating software.
• SMSTS qualification and RAMS experience.
• Electrical qualification such as City & Guilds 2391, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with estimating, PDF editing and CAD advantageous.
• Experience in electrical design, fire alarms, solar PV or EV charging beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical contracts from start to finish within time and budget.
• Liaise with main contractors, clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Organise and schedule site works, allocate resources and order materials.
• Oversee contract administration including quotes, variations and final accounts.
• Attend contract and site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Manage RAMS and health and safety compliance across projects.
• Coordinate handover manuals, drawings and project documentation.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve electrical queries.
• Assist with estimating activities and quotations as needed.
• Monitor progress and address issues affecting programme, cost, quality.
