Job summary

The Thrive Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of premium commercial office fit-out projects across London. You will oversee the full electrical package from pre-construction to handover, coordinating with project teams and consultants to ensure high quality, compliant performance.

You will manage budgets, procurement, variations and subcontractor accounts while maintaining strict health and safety standards and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager in construction/building services.
• Strong background in commercial office fit-out projects.
• Experience delivering high-end or luxury office fit-outs is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services: power, lighting, distribution, specialist systems.
• Commercially aware with budgets, procurement, variations, and subcontractor accounts.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project programmes, and delivery processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or packages simultaneously.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full electrical package from pre-construction through to project completion and handover.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Take responsibility for project budgets, cost control, procurement and commercial performance.
• Manage subcontractor appointments, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Ensure electrical works are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, specifications and agreed programmes.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, consultants and other trade contractors.
• Review electrical designs, drawings and technical submissions, ensuring coordination with other building services.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement solutions to maintain programme and budget.
• Ensure compliance with current UK regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
• Manage commissioning, testing, quality assurance and final handover documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join a growing team delivering prestigious, high-end commercial office fit-out projects across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Electrical Contracts Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out, particularly within the luxury office sector. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial, contractual and operational delivery of electrical packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
