Job summary

SMART is seeking an Electrical Contract Supervisor based in London to oversee reactive and planned maintenance, manage assets, and ensure efficient operations. The role requires formal engineering training and experience in a client-facing environment.

You will coordinate daily tasks, review quotes, and develop tools to monitor performance, while maintaining safe practices, PPE compliance, and strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. This is a site-based, Monday–Friday position.

Qualifications

• Formally trained in engineering discipline to NVQ Level 3
• Experience in a similar client-facing role

Responsibilities

• Upload quotes for client approval and track SLA
• Attend daily meetings and manage rotas
• Perform routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant
• Maintain CMMS with accurate data
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Compile monthly reports for managers and clients
• Build relationships with staff, subcontractors, and clients
• Keep plant rooms secure and well-maintained
