Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover on a flagship data centre project in Leeds, UK.

You will work with the project leadership to deliver safely, on time, and within budget, while managing subcontractors and coordinating LV/MV systems, UPS, generators, lighting and power distribution, upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar electrical construction management role.
• Previous experience on data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV and MV systems, UPS, generators, lighting, and power distribution.
• Proven track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UK regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of systems.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks to maintain project standards.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and high performance across the project team.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise delays and disruptions.

The Role
