Job summary

ARC (Norwich) Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead electrical delivery on major laboratory, healthcare and technically complex projects across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and beyond. The role requires coordinating subcontractors, site teams and project stakeholders from mobilisation to completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical construction activities on sizeable projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial building services and electrical installations.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site-based electrical teams.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams from mobilisation through to completion.
• Plan and sequence works to meet programmes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, design teams and the wider construction team.
• Monitor progress, quality, workmanship and compliance with specifications.
• Review drawings, technical information and installation requirements.
• Support coordination of MEP services and resolve site issues.
• Ensure all electrical works meet standards, regulations and project requirements.
• Maintain focus on health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates on electrical activities.
• Manage resources, labour and materials to support delivery.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover through to project completion.
