Job summary

Arcade UK Ltd is seeking an Electrical Quality Supervisor to oversee NICEIC compliance, quality assurance, and the delivery of small electrical works. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on project supervision across installations.

You will manage testing, certification, and documentation, mentor electricians and apprentices, and drive safety and efficiency to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, ensuring ongoing compliance with NICEIC accreditation and current regulations (BS7671, Part P, Health & Safety at Work Act).
• Oversee certification of all electrical works, including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works certificates.
• Conduct regular quality and compliance audits on completed installations.
• Liaise with NICEIC assessors during audits and address corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain company test equipment records, calibration logs, and certification registers.
• Survey, estimate, and prepare quotations for small-scale electrical works, maintenance, and remedial projects.
• Plan, schedule, and manage the installation of small works from design through to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Provide hands-on support with small installations and remedial tasks when required.
• Track project costs, variations, and profitability for all small works activities.
• Ensure all works are completed to company and NICEIC quality standards.
• Provide day-to-day technical supervision and mentoring for electricians and apprentices.
• Review and sign off test sheets and certification documents before issue.
• Offer guidance on technical queries, design solutions, and best practices.
• Contribute to staff development through training and competency checks.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out in line with RAMS, method statements, and health & safety regulations.
• Promote safe working practices across all electrical activities.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, drawings, and as-built records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the electrical department.

3. Small Works Pricing & Installation
