Job summary

CBW is seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer to perform electrical inspection and testing (EICR) and remedial works in retail, commercial, and office settings. The role requires BS7671:2018 compliance knowledge and the ability to work independently, delivering safe and compliant electrical systems.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:00–21:00 with overtime after 17:30. The position offers a basic salary up to £39,000 DOE plus allowances and a driver’s licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2365/2357 Level 3 with NVQ 2356 and AM2.
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Electrical Installation with NVQ 2356 and AM2.
• City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Parts 1 & 2.
• 18th Edition BS7671:2018 (Amendment 2 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical inspection and testing, including Fixed Wire Testing and remedial works.
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671:18th Edition.
• Deliver high-quality work and professional client service.
• Maintain compliance with statutory regs and company procedures.
• Provide accurate documentation and certification within timescales.
