Job summary

SP Electricity North West is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician with strong AutoCAD expertise and a solid understanding of the electricity distribution network. You will help manage and update project design drawings, ensuring high quality and compliance with document control processes, while engaging with design engineers and the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with strong CAD knowledge.
• Good understanding of the electricity distribution network and substations.
• Experience with P&C diagrams (SLD, KLD, block cable diagrams) and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update project design drawings with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with design engineers and supply chain to resolve connectivity and layout design issues.
• Support optioneering and discussions to improve network designs while ensuring high quality and HSE compliance.
