Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited in Manchester is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage engineers and subcontractors across multiple sites. The role ensures delivery of electrical and building services, supervises planned and reactive maintenance, and enforces health and safety standards.

You will work with clients and stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, coordinate RAMS, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) is required.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes.
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
• Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works to required standards.
• Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures.
• Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels.
• Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works.
• Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
• Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement.
