Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead engineering design across nuclear, defence and civil sectors within our Energy unit. You will deliver electrical building services solutions for diverse projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring technical excellence in a regulated environment across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Have strong engineering knowledge of electrical building services design principles and processes.
• Attained professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and membership in a professional body.
• Be able to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams within complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary resources and manage the electrical building services engineering team.
• Lead the production of design solutions for single or multi-discipline projects, including estimates and schedules.
• Govern and assure design documents, drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documents.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality standards and Building Regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, sponsors, and suppliers and attend engineering meetings.
