Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience in Building Services Consultancy.
- Strong electrical design experience across building sectors.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of standard electrical design and calculation software; BIM Level 2.
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical building services designs from concept through to construction issue.
- Prepare feasibility studies, design calculations, technical reports and specifications.
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarms.
- Attend client, contractor and design team meetings.
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, architectural and structural disciplines.
- Support and mentor junior engineers; ensure compliance with regulations.
