Job summary

Pick Everard is seeking an Associate Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to lead electrical design on complex projects across private and public sectors in London. You will independently run packages, mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires Chartered or working towards professional registration, strong BS 7671 knowledge and experience with LV distribution, lighting and specialist systems.

Qualifications

• HND, Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng status or working towards professional registration.
• Significant experience in electrical building services design across a range of complex projects and sectors.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of BS 7671 and relevant electrical design standards.
• Experience in LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, containment and associated electrical building services systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of complex building services projects across both the private and public sectors.
• Deliver high-quality solutions for clients across heritage and culture, mission critical, healthcare, custodial, energy and infrastructure, and other complex environments.
• Prepare designs, feasibility studies, technical reports, specifications and contract documentation.
• Undertaking electrical system analysis, calculations and technical assessments.
• Manage projects and design packages from concept through to construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural and other specialist disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and graduates.
• Support client relationships and broader business development.
• Ensure Health & Safety, CDM and regulatory compliance.
