Job summary

Brazen Search is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for a busy food manufacturing site in Leeds on a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running, performing reactive breakdowns and PPM tasks.

The role operates on days-based rotating shifts, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, supporting improvements and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills relevant to production equipment.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors, control circuits and automated equipment.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding and repair on production machinery.
• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across site.
• Diagnose faults on motors, drives, sensors, control circuits and automated equipment.
• Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Support production during breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with food manufacturing standards.
