Job summary

Wolviston Management Services is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer for a key client in the manufacturing sector. You will provide essential electrical and automation engineering expertise, supporting ongoing operations and future site development.

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will own CAPEX and major maintenance projects while driving continuous improvements across day-to-day plant activities; collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver capital projects and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Knowledge of HV/LV systems and installations.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience (Siemens S5/S7) and industrial communications.
• Strong fault-finding capabilities, including PID controls.
• Experience with AC/DC drives, ideally Siemens.

Responsibilities

• Own CAPEX and major maintenance projects, and drive continuous improvement across day-to-day plant activities.
• Monitor plant performance, identify root causes of significant failures, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to introduce new equipment, capital projects, and process improvements.
• Produce clear and detailed technical specifications for services and equipment.
• Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams with a structured approach to project delivery.
