Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a technically strong M&E Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical safety and support building services operations across a complex estate in Suffolk. The role offers a salary of £53,000–£55,000 with a company car or car allowance, and funded AP training is available.

The position is site-based with a Saturday to Wednesday pattern and on-call involvement.

Qualifications

• AP qualifications valued but not mandatory; funded AP training available.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, permit-to-work, and Safe Systems of Work.
• Experience supervising engineering teams and site operations.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• AP tickets JSP375 experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical compliance, safe systems of work and permit arrangements.
• Review RAMS and supervise engineers.
• Provide expert advisory to management and site teams.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance and project delivery.
• Identify safety and technical deficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors; participate in on-call rota.
