Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified Electrical Installation Engineer to oversee electrical safety and support engineering teams across multiple sites in Cambridgeshire.

The role covers electrical installation, planned maintenance and project work, with RAMS, permits and safe systems of work, and requires Level 3 electrical qualification, supervisory experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and substantial practical electrical experience.
• Safe Systems of Work and electrical safety competence.
• Experience supervising skilled engineers or contractors.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
• Electrical AP qualifications are desirable, NOT essential; funded training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical installation, planned maintenance and project activities.
• Produce and review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Assess competence of skilled engineers and provide supervision, coaching and technical advice.
• Review electrical isolation arrangements, safety compliance and site risks.
• Liaise with contractors and management and help resolve technical issues.
• Support efficiency improvements and take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota when needed.

Up to £44,000 + company car or car allowance | Permanent | Full-time | Mobile, covering 4 sites across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring areas

An established building services and FM provider is recruiting a qualified Electrical Installation Engineer to oversee electrical safety and support engineering teams across multiple sites. This opportunity could suit a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Supervisor or aspiring Electrical Authorised Person.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical installation, planned maintenance and project activities.
• Produce and review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Assess competence of skilled engineers and provide supervision, coaching and technical advice.
• Review electrical isolation arrangements, safety compliance and site risks.
• Liaise with contractors and management and help resolve technical issues.
