Job summary

Black & White Engineering seeks an Associate Director (Electrical) to lead electrical design delivery on complex, multinational projects and to influence technical standards across the business.

You will mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliant solutions that meet strategic client needs and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading electrical design delivery in a consultancy or engineering environment.
• Expertise in power distribution and critical infrastructure design.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience reviewing and assuring complex engineering designs and technical deliverables.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design delivery across complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Providing technical leadership, design assurance and engineering guidance to project teams.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a senior technical point of contact.
• Supporting project planning, resource coordination and delivery performance.
• Reviewing designs, calculations and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentoring and developing engineers across the electrical discipline.
• Contributing to business growth through project opportunities, client engagement and technical excellence.
