What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?

You will have completed an apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualification.

As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.

Key responsibilities:

You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining, and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.

This includes:

  • Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment to adhere to water quality standards
  • Proactively investigating asset trends and carrying out electrical interventions

  • Utilising electrical drawings and extensive electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Liaising with other team members to respond to technical issues and maintain water supply
