SUMMARY:
Seeking Assembly Techs with a U.S. Passport who can travel for 2-3 weeks for training immediately after being hired. Candidates will work in Stafford, VA once training is completed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly processes, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
As a key part of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality products that meet our standards, ensuring efficiency and precision at every step.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform electrical wiring and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
- Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
