Echo Personnel Ltd. on behalf of a client, an established manufacturing business, seeks an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee daily production, maintain quality, and support a team to hit targets.

You will lead by example, ensuring safe, efficient processes and adherence to company procedures. The role requires reading engineering drawings, interpreting GA layouts, and strong focus on quality and safety.

Formación

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or production environments.
• Previous team leader/supervisor/senior production experience is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GA layouts.
• Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Knowledge of electrical assembly techniques.
• Strong quality inspection and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of system testing and product functionality.
• Proactive approach to health and safety.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support production operatives, ensuring daily targets and production schedules are achieved.
• Hands-on support to manufacturing and assembly processes as needed.
• Ensure work meets quality standards, specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GA layouts.
• Monitor production performance, promoting right-first-time principles.
• Conduct safety, quality and housekeeping checks for a clean, safe environment.
• Ensure procedures, health and safety regulations and quality standards are followed.
• Identify risks, report issues and support continuous improvement.
• Train, coach and develop team members with proper training records.
• Monitor team performance, communicate expectations and support colleagues to meet objectives.
• Assist with resource planning and provide cover for the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure materials, components and finished products are stored correctly.
