Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or supervising people within electrical manufacturing or panel assembly.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical panel wiring, switchgear or low-voltage distribution equipment.
• Experience organising production workloads and managing workshop priorities.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of electrical testing, quality standards and safe working practices.
• Confident communication and leadership skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities across an electrical assembly workshop.
• Lead a team of electrical assemblers and panel builders, allocating work and monitoring progress.
• Ensure electrical distribution equipment is manufactured to the correct specifications.
• Provide technical support with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly processes.
• Oversee electrical inspection, testing and quality control procedures.
• Resolve production issues, material shortages and workflow challenges.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a safe, organised workshop and support improvements to manufacturing processes.
