Electrical Assembly Supervisor – Lead Electrical Technician
Essential Responsibilities
Supervise Electrical Assembly Team: Provide leadership, team supervision, and hands-on training to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to standards.
Hands-On Electrical Assembly: Assemble electrical panels, junction boxes, and electrical systems using technical schematics, blueprints, and work orders. Support during build and assembly phases.
Electrical Testing and Troubleshooting: Lead functional testing, diagnose electrical issues, and apply corrective actions to maintain performance and safety standards.
Technical Documentation Review: Interpret and verify schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation; guide team members as needed.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control inspections and safety checks on electrical assemblies; resolve non-conformities promptly.
Accurate Documentation and Reporting: Keep records of assembly procedures, test results, and electrical work performed.
Continuous Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve assembly processes, product reliability, and implement lean manufacturing practices.
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
Enforce Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and electrical safety protocols during all phases of assembly.
Mentorship and Team Development: Train and mentor junior electricians and technicians, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
