Job Description

A leading manufacturer in Thame, Oxfordshire, is looking for experienced Electrical Assembly Production Operatives with experience in electrical wiring, wire routing, and assembly of components to join a growing, established team due to company growth on a permanent basis.

The two different shifts available are:

• DAYS - 6am - 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and only 5 hours on a Friday (6am - 11am) - £24,743
• LATES - 2.30pm - 11pm, Monday to Thursday, and only 5 hours on a Friday (11am - 4pm) - £28,083

FURTHER TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED…

• Working in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring, and testing as required to meet delivery requirements.
• Carrying out component manufacturing and product assembly according to build instructions, drawings, BOMs, or other related documents.
• Ensuring all activities meet quality standards and other applicable standards.
• Setting up component manufacturing equipment (including EHRT, plating line, power presses) and production areas for efficient operation.
• Maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean work environment and ensuring safe working practices at all times.
• Storing components and products tidily and correctly identifying them.
• Accurately maintaining production records, product records, and other documentation.
• Liaising with Team Leaders to keep stock levels updated.
• Ensuring equipment operates efficiently and effectively, maximizing material, resource, and time use.
• Maintaining machinery and equipment as per TPM programs.
• Reporting any plant or equipment maintenance issues to the Production Manager or appropriate staff.
• Participating in team working and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Offering suggestions to improve efficiency and safety of production areas and equipment.
• Raising manufacturing problems with the Production Manager and collaborating on solutions.

Previous experience in production, electrical product assembly, wiring, and component assembly is essential, along with a strong work history. Candidates should be able to multitask, work from drawings with experience, and possess problem-solving skills to identify root causes and suggest solutions.
