Job description

Position: Assembly Operative

Location: Thame

Salary: 24,000 - 29,000 Per Annum

Our client, a growing business, is looking for assembly operatives to join their team on a permanent basis to assist with daily production functions, handling general duties for a wide range of products.

Shift options include:

• Day shift: 6:30am - 3pm, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday around midday.
• Late shift: 2:30pm - 11pm, Monday to Thursday, with hours on Friday from 11am to 4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks according to established specifications and instructions.
• Follow the Production Plan provided by the Production Planner.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, report issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Use resources efficiently to achieve job results.
• Ensure all items are QC checked to minimize faulty or incorrect parts.
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results.
• Communicate any issues to managers and directors.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.

Essential Experience:

• Ability to perform tasks unsupervised.
• Full training provided on products and procedures.
• Know when to escalate issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
