Job Overview

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join its production team. This role involves assembling precision electrical systems from initial build through to final testing and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical assembly of technical equipment and related products.

Hand tool assembly and mechanical fitting.

Soldering and wiring of components.

Testing and fault-finding on new and refurbished equipment, including pressure and leak testing.

Stock management – tracking levels and requesting parts as required.

Adhering to production schedules to ensure timely machine delivery.

Liaising with design and quality teams to implement updates, modifications, and compliance improvements.

Maintaining a clean and organized production area.

Following health & safety protocols and promoting best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience in an electrical/mechanical production environment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools.

Soldering skills and experience with wiring connections.

Familiarity with testing procedures and correct use of test equipment.

Attention to detail and ability to spot issues before they affect production.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Positive, proactive approach to work and ability to communicate effectively within a team.

Experience working within ISO9001 quality standards is beneficial.

The Package

The salary offered for this position is £25,000- £30,000 plus benefits to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
