Orion Electrotech is seeking an Assembly Operative in Reading to join a busy manufacturing team. You will assemble electrical components and sub-assemblies to high standards, ensuring products meet quality and production requirements.

The role offers Morning and Afternoon shifts (Mon-Fri) with a £13.00 per hour wage. This is an ongoing position with steady hours in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Following assembly instructions, technical drawings, and work procedures.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Identifying and reporting any faults or defects.
• Packing and preparing completed products for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
