Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting assembly operatives for immediate starts in Reading. Temp-to-perm opportunities with AM (6:00–2:30) and PM (2:30–11:00) shifts, Monday to Friday, are available.

You will assemble products using a range of tools, perform mechanical and electrical assembly, and follow ISO 9001:2015 processes where applicable. This role offers a practical, hands-on environment in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work independently toward targets.
• Previous assembly experience required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build products using a range of tools and workshop equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Basic electrical wiring.
• Safely handle products following Health & Safety procedures.
• Return and store equipment properly and follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Keep work area and gangways tidy and free from obstruction.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures where applicable.

Assembly Operatives Required Reading - Immediate Starts Available

Our client in Reading is currently for a number of assembly operatives to join the business on a temp to perm basis, both AM and PM shifts available.

AM Shifts: 6.00am-2.30pm Monday to Friday

PM Shifts: 2.30pm-11.00pm Monday to Friday

Duties

• Assemble and build products using a range of tools and workshop equipment
• Mechanical and electrical assembly
• Basic electrical wiring
• Safe handling of products accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensure all equipment used in performing the above tasks is returned to its proper location and is used in a safe manner and in accordance to the manufacture guidelines
• To ensure that the work area and adjacent gangways are kept tidy and free from obstruction.
• To be aware of and comply with ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures where applicable

Required Experience:

• Be a self-starter that can work independently towards set targets and goals
• Previous assembly experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools

Additional Info:

• Hours: 6.00am-2.30pm Monday or 2.30pm-11.00pm Monday to Friday
• Rate: £#removed# per hour
