Job summary

RNN Group is hiring an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to lead electrical apprenticeship training at North Notts Campus, Worksop, with some offsite work. The role involves coaching learners through their qualifications, managing caseloads and using e-portfolios to monitor progress.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 (or higher), an Assessors Award, English/Maths Level 2, and a teaching qualification or willingness to obtain. Flexible benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical industry preferred.
• A1/ V1/ CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent) required.
• Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to undertake.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and guide enthusiastic learners starting their careers.
• Coach apprentices from their first day to full qualification.
• Collaborate within a supportive, forward-thinking team.
• Coach and mentor apprentices through Electrical Standards.
• Assess progress with on-site performance reviews and workplace assessments.
• Build strong relationships with learners and employers.
• Track student growth using digital e-portfolios.
