HD Air in Springfield, MA is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The Electrical Service Apprentice will help and assist preforming residential service including but not limited to: Electrical panels, GCI, outlets, light and fan installation, garbage disposal, etc. The ideal candidate should possess over-the-top customer service and must have a drive to grow and excel in Electric. The Electrical Apprentice will be afforded training to improve knowledge and skills to promote growth in the Electrical department.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrical Service Expert in troubleshooting, keeping work area neat and clean, stocking truck before scheduled job, etc.
• Assist in maintenance and repair on electrical panel, outlets, lights, switches, dimmers, garbage disposals, etc.
• Any other duties assigned by Electrical Service Expert and Electrical Service Manager

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in Residential Service/ Electrical Apprentice (2 years) REQUIRED
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
• Clean and valid driver's license
• Able to work with minimal supervision and be accountable for your own production.
• Work well in a fast-paced, safety-concious environment.
• Strong relationship and communication skills.
• Drive to pursue further education and training to excel in Electrical Department.
