Job summary

Castle Employment Group in Bradford is seeking an Applications Engineer to join an established engineering team. The role is initially 6 months with potential to go permanent, focusing on electrical equipment and switchgear from order to manufacture.

You will work with customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams, producing technical documentation and supporting production while ensuring technical requirements are understood and delivered accurately.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical documentation.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and manage customer orders for electrical equipment and switchgear.
• Produce electrical diagrams, layouts, arrangements, procedures and manuals.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and material requisitions.
• Liaise with customers on technical matters throughout each project.
• Support manufacturing teams with design and production queries.
• Contribute to customer meetings and technical discussions.
