West Lindsey District Council is seeking an adaptable administrator to support elections administration at the Guildhall, Gainsborough. This full-time role (37 hours weekly) requires accuracy, reliability and a collaborative approach to a busy team, with potential extra hours during election periods.
You will be proficient with IT systems, able to communicate clearly in writing and speech, and deliver high-quality administrative support while embracing hybrid working and ongoing training.
Band 4 £25,185 - £25,583 per annum and additional payments for Elections in accordance with approved local rates

We are looking for a confident, articulate person who can work in a busy but small team, providing first class administrative support.
Flexibility is the key to this post, and you will need to be able to respond to changing priorities. You must be a team player, whilst being able to manage your own workload. You will be required to work to tight deadlines, with attention detail, and be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
Throughout planned election periods, you will be expected to work additional hours, possibly including weekends, at peak times for which additional payments are made.
You must be proficient in using IT systems but do not need to have previous experience in elections or local government.
