Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Elective Admissions Manager to deliver high-quality, efficient patient services and provide operational support to General Managers and Divisional Directors. Working with senior clinical leaders, the post holder will drive elective recovery, performance monitoring and service improvement across the Elective Admissions Team.

• Deliver high-quality, efficient patient services and provide operational management support to senior leaders.
• Support the Elective Admissions Team's day-to-day performance, recruitment, training and delivery of elective recovery objectives.
• Act as system lead/super-user for elective admissions systems and related scheduling/tools.
• Provide leadership for Elective Admissions, ensuring safe, patient-focused services meeting quality, performance, access and financial targets.
• Lead projects and service improvement initiatives, develop SOPs, monitor activity and report findings to management.
• Line manage administrative staff, oversee recruitment, induction, appraisal and development.
