Job summary

PRS LTD is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in Leeds to maintain building services and plant across West Yorkshire. The role is permanent, with a basic salary of £42,000 and a Monday–Friday day shift.

• Recognised Level 3 engineering qualification
• Ideally electrical engineering / Electrician
• Multiskilled background including HVAC plant (AHUs, coil, fans)
• 18th edition
• Experience in commercial building maintenance
• Full driving license and mobility for field work
• FM sector familiarity and supervisory exposure

Responsibilities

• Perform building services / electrical maintenance
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
• Maintain lighting, emergency systems and plant room electrical systems
• Complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI
• Respond to Helpdesk requests with timely professional service
• Work on AHUs, fans, coils and general HVAC plant room
• Carry out mechanical and fabric tasks when required
• Conduct compliance checks
• Lead small works projects

Maintenance Electrician

Location: Leeds
Type: Permanent
Salary: £42,000 basic

We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to maintain building services and planton estatesacross theWest Yorkshire area. You will be expected to have and excellent understanding of plant room and building services engineering, compliance and have a multiskilled background.
The role is a Permanent position paying up to £42,000 basic. Mon-Fri days.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Completing building services / electrical maintenance
• To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
• To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
• To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
• To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
• Work on AHU’s, fans coils and general HVAC plant room
• Mechanical and fabric tasks where required
• Compliance checks
• Small works projects

Skills & Background Required

• Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
• Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician
• Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general HVAC plant including AHU’s, fan coils etc.
• 18th edition
• Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
• Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
• Driving license and willing to operate on a mobile basis
• Familiar with Facilities Management Sector and to have had previous lead or some supervisory skills
