Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting consultants for Ageing & Complex Medicine (Elderly Medicine) to enhance care for elderly patients in the Wigan Borough. The post supports a 10 PA job plan, with potential to negotiate additional PAs for the right candidate, reflecting our focus on patient care and staff wellbeing.

Opportunities exist across in-patient and out-patient settings with in-house training/CPD to develop a subspecialty interest.

Responsibilities

• Opportunities across in-patient and out-patient Elderly Care (Elderly Medicine) with support from clinical leadership.
• There is commitment for night and weekend on-call in general medicine as part of the day service.
