Job summary

Keoghs is seeking an EL/PL Litigation Executive in Bolton to manage delegated authority files for insurer clients. The role collaborates with a Technical Support Lawyer to set strategy, lead investigations, review medical and personnel records, and ensure SLAs are met.

You will handle Pre-action disclosures, instruct counsel, draft orders, and negotiate settlements while maintaining high client service standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience handling EL/PL files on delegated authority is essential.
• Strong communication with clients, witnesses and counsel.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a busy caseload.

Responsibilities

• Consider and respond to Pre-action disclosure applications
• Instruct Counsel/advocates and review evidence
• Draft costs schedules and Tomlin/Consent orders
• Liaise with insureds, claimants, witnesses and solicitors
• Attend conferences and trials and take notes
• Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations
