Job summary

Streamline Search in Essex is seeking an experienced Electrician with strong EICR and testing expertise to perform electrical testing, identify defects and ensure installations meet safety and compliance standards. The role spans residential and commercial properties, with client and tenant liaison as part of daily duties.

You will certify test results, maintain records, and assist the wider electrical team with remedial works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrician with strong EICR/testing experience.
• Experience carrying out electrical testing and certification to current standards.
• Strong understanding of BS 7671 and safety/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICRs and testing across residential and commercial properties.
• Complete testing and certification in line with regulations and industry standards.
• Identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
• Carry out installation, maintenance and remedial works as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of testing, certification and works.
• Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and site teams.
