Job summary

Finlay Jude Recruitment Ltd, recruiting on behalf of a leading water infrastructure contractor, seeks an EICA Engineer for delivery of control and automation designs across water and wastewater projects. Hybrid role based in Bristol or Exeter with regular regional site visits.

You will collaborate with Civil, Mechanical and Process teams to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective solutions. Applicants should hold a degree in Electrical/Control/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering, with HNDs

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering or related field.
HND considered for suitable candidates.
Full membership of a relevant professional institution.

Responsibilities

Deliver EICA design solutions for water and wastewater projects meeting specs and standards.
Develop cost-effective designs for safe construction and lifecycle value.
Coordinate EICA with Civil, Mechanical, Process and PM teams.
Prepare designs, specs, control philosophies and drawings.
Support tender activity with technical input, cost estimates and advice.
Promote standardisation and continuous improvement in delivery.
Maintain project procedures and best practice documents.
Ensure document control and accurate records throughout contracts.
Champion health, safety and environmental best practices and CDM rules.
Build strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Encourage ongoing professional development and technical progression.
Drive sustainable engineering solutions and minimize waste.
