Job summary

NextPharma Edinburgh is seeking a Temporary EHS Officer for a 1-year fixed-term contract to own and drive the site's EHS and Sustainability program. The role requires coordinating and guiding safety, health and environmental initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement at the site.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in safety or environmental roles, a relevant degree, and strong project management and communication skills to work with site leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in safety and/or environmental positions.
• Degree in environmental, safety, chemical engineering or related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead EHS and sustainability programs at the Edinburgh site.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain legal registers.
• Develop and implement risk management and CAPA processes.
• Provide training and guidance to operational leaders.
