Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH's Pirbright site seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the site’s Environment, Health & Safety strategy and operations in a highly regulated vaccine manufacturing environment.

You will partner with site leadership, operations and regulators to ensure compliance, continuous improvement and a strong safety culture while delivering timely training, investigations and CAPA activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS in pharma/regulatory environments.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Experience with EHS programmes, audits and regulatory interactions.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational delivery of EHS at the Pirbright site.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, regulatory expectations and standards.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programmes and systems.
• Develop and maintain EHS training and awareness across the site.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses and CAPA actions.
• Coordinate internal audits, inspections and regulatory visits.
• Act as primary site contact for EHS with regulators and external agencies.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
