Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim UK is seeking a Virus Production Shift Technician to support GMP-compliant vaccine antigen production at Pirbright. This site-based, fixed-term role requires adherence to SOPs, documentation accuracy and participation in continuous improvement.

The position involves shift-based manufacturing, potential nights and weekends, and collaboration with跨-functional teams to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education, including Maths and English.
• Scientific, technical, or manufacturing-related qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities in line with GMP and production schedules.
• Perform CIP/SIP operations to support production activities.
• Operate cleanroom and laboratory environments per regulatory requirements.
• Complete batch records and manufacturing documentation accurately.
• Manage raw material inventories and routine stock control activities.
• Operate autoclaves and perform cleaning, sterilisation, and testing.
• Carry out aseptic processing and work within biosafety cabinets.
