Job summary

Suntory Global Spirits is seeking an EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health and Safety delivery across UK operations. You will implement the UK EHS strategy, support Regional Leads, and drive continual improvement while maintaining compliance with major UK frameworks.

Responsibilities include governance, health provider oversight, audits, and KPI dashboards. Strong leadership in COMAH environments and NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications are expected.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; Chartered IOSH desirable.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing/COMAH environments.
• Success measured through compliance, audit performance, EHS culture, KPI delivery and leadership effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Translate the UK EHS strategy into operational plans.
• Provide EHS leadership to Central Site(s) Leadership Teams.
• Develop annual EHS improvement plans.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager as/when required—EHS Compliance.
• Lead and manage the SCOTS safety rep team, ensuring collaboration and action delivery.
• Lead compliance with HSE & SEPA, escalating issues as needed.
• Implement UK EHS governance requirements and management systems.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
• Oversee audits, inspections and assurance activities; close significant findings.
• Manage significant compliance risks across sites.

Education

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; Chartered IOSH desirable
