Job summary

GSK is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) advisor to ensure compliant and sustainable operations at the site. The role supports the EHS Lead, maintains the EHS management system, and drives continuous improvement in safety practices for manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients.

You will participate in audits, handle incident investigations, and liaise with regulators and external bodies while ensuring colleagues comply with life-saving rules.

Qualifications

• Experience within an EHS environment, ideally within a high hazard environment.
• Strong understanding of EHS policies and processes.
• Hold NEBOSH general certificate

Responsibilities

• Support the EHS Lead and team to maintain high EHS standards on site.
• Maintain the EHS management system to ensure legal compliance and continuous improvement.
• Investigate UIRs with CAPA for high hazard activities and assist line managers.
• Ensure staff comply with GSK life-saving rules.
• Lead internal audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Liaise with regulators, external consultants, and other GSK areas.
• Represent the EHS team in projects and support safe delivery of site projects.
• Keep up to date with modern EHS processes and techniques.
• Assist in devising strategic opportunities to improve EHS controls on site.
