MK Search is recruiting an EHS Advisor for a leading tier 1 M&E contractor to support a varied portfolio of commercial and aviation projects across London and the Southeast. Based in the London office and reporting to the UK Head of Health & Safety, you will collaborate with project teams to uphold high EHS standards.

The role offers long-term career development, exposure to prestigious projects, and travel to multiple sites including Heathrow, Northampton and Central London.

Qualifications

• Experience in an EHS/Health & Safety Advisor role within construction.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to travel to projects (Heathrow, Northampton, Central London).

Responsabilités

• Provide practical EHS advice and support to project teams across multiple sites.
• Carry out site inspections and audits and ensure actions are followed through.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements and EHS documentation.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, procedures and client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and share lessons learned.
• Deliver toolbox talks and EHS awareness initiatives.
• Promote a positive safety culture among employees and subcontractors.
• Report EHS performance to the UK Head of Health & Safety.

EHS Advisor Opportunity - Tier 1 M&E Contractor

MK Search are working with a leading tier 1 M&E contractor to recruit an EHS Advisor to support a varied portfolio of commercial and aviation projects across London and the Southeast.

Based in the London office and reporting directly to the UK Head of Health & Safety, you will work closely with project teams to maintain high environmental, health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical EHS advice and support to project teams across multiple sites.
• Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring actions are followed through.
• Support the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and project EHS documentation.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, company procedures and client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying corrective actions and sharing lessons learned.
• Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and EHS awareness initiatives.
• Promote a positive safety culture among employees and subcontractors.
• Report on EHS performance directly to the UK Head of Health & Safety.

About You:

• Previous experience in an EHS or Health & Safety Advisor role within construction.
• Experience with an M&E contractor or building services projects would be advantageous.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams and senior management.
• A practical, proactive approach to improving safety standards.
• Willingness to travel to projects in Heathrow, Northampton and Central London.
