Job summary

Senior Aerospace Thermal Engineering is seeking an experienced EH&S leader to drive the development and execution of the company’s Health, Safety and Environment strategy in a manufacturing setting. You will align local activities with Group expectations, oversee risk assessments, and champion a strong safety culture across teams and contractors.

You will manage EH&S metrics, lead audits and investigations, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to ensure compliant, safe working

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and guidance.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment delivering a safety-first culture.
• Ability to manage risk assessments and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with ISO14001 and audit retention.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting and cost management within EH&S.
• Influence and engage teams to implement lasting change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EH&S strategy in line with ISO14001 and annual improvements.
• Develop and monitor EH&S performance metrics and risk reports.
• Provide leadership and development for EH&S staff.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality and Engineering to ensure safe systems.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and codes of practice.
