Job summary

GMP Worldwide is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Manager to own health, safety and occupational risk across a high‑hazard aerospace manufacturing site in Worcester. You will lead the H&S strategy and ensure UK compliance while partnering with the site leadership team.

This senior role combines strategic leadership with practical delivery: conducting risk assessments, leading investigations, managing RIDDOR, and maintaining ISO 45001 alongside ISO 9001/14001. NEBOSH is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification essential for role.
• Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
• Proven experience managing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Experience investigating incidents and conducting root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the site's Health & Safety strategy.
• Provide professional H&S advice to directors and senior management.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses.
• Manage RIDDOR reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and support ISO 9001/14001 integration.
• Deliver H&S training and site inductions.
• Review contractor RAMS and monitor contractor compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
