Job summary

Ford Halewood Transmissions in Liverpool is seeking a Maintenance Crafts Worker for the Effluent Process Plant. The role pays £46,587.88 per annum, permanent with standard hours and some shift flexibility.

You will support maintenance of the effluent plant and related systems, ensuring reliability and performance across the site. The ideal candidate has electrical or mechanical maintenance background in a process environment, with experience in pumps, motors and control systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience in a process plant environment.
• Experience with pumps, motors and control systems.
• Proactive fault finding and continuous improvement approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Maintain electrical, PLC, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Take and analyse effluent samples and data for PM planning.
• Analyse PM data to plan replacements, repairs and overhauls.
• Overhaul machine parts to reduce part replacements.
• Identify machine improvements for performance and OEE gains.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement root cause fixes.
• Support maintenance improvement schedules and 5 Why analysis.
• Participate in Kaizen for safety, cost control and improvements.
• Maintain plant comfort cooling systems and other indirect areas.
