Lancashire Renewables Ltd. is seeking a Shift Mechanical Technician to join the Maintenance team at our Thornton facility.

You will maintain waste facility processing assets and mechanical systems, supporting both planned and reactive work to keep operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates will have an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, plus hands-on maintenance knowledge, CMMS/SCADA familiarity, and experience with mobile plant equipment such as FLT, Telehandler and

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with preventive, predictive & lifecycle maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Experience using a centralised maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Knowledge of waste processing plants or industrial machinery.
• Experience with mobile plant equipment: FLT, Telehandler, MEWP.
• Confined spaces and working at height training."
• SCADA operations experience is desirable.
