Senior General Foreman - Major Infrastructure Project - Devonport

Randstad C&P is recruiting an experienced freelance Senior General Foreman for a major infrastructure project at Devonport HMNB. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity with a leading construction company, featuring a competitive rate on a major scheme.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage a specific section of the project, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Supervise and coordinate the work of site staff, including engineers, technicians, and operatives, providing guidance and support.
3. Implement and maintain safety procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, especially those related to the naval dockyard environment.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
5. Identify and manage risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
6. Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
7. Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as progress reports, meeting minutes, and safety records.
